finish last wave?
After I found out that there's way more to do than the tutorial tells us the last wave was no problem, but it still forced me to quit. So can I trick the game into not cancelling the last wave? I'd really like to see how long I can last.

Other than that, it feels like there's a lot of balancing to do.

You can prevent the last wave from triggering by not completing all objectives for eg you can leave one of the nest's and farm the creatures it spawns indefinitely however this isn't much fun as there are no big waves.

If you would like to try survival mode join the Exor discord and check out the prologue mods. I'll leave an invite at the bottom.

Prologue is based on an an alpha build of the game so things will get polished and balanced before final release.

I agree, the last wave should continue until either you are dead or every last enemy is dead. I restarted once I learned where the iron deposits were and built my entire base there... it's an extremely defensible position with only 8 turrets, but the game ends before the base really got tested.

Did a square in the middle of where the tutorial wants you to build the HQ... 24 guns spaced 2 tiles apart and was crazy how big the slaughterfest was. Walls started falling but the game just quit on me :(

Of course that was when I wasn't cheating by putting the AI cores somewhere enemies don't go (noticed when I built my base in the iron mine that enemies never approached from the lower right side, even as I began expanding out for more power)

Was going to build an ultra small square with only batteries (charge them outside the square) and 40 guns no squares apart. but the game froze when they started firing on a small mob.
