I have had two crashes in 35 hours of gameplay and there's hardly any stuttering during gameplay on my ancient potato PC running a mid-range i5 and an RX 570 4gb, and I have almost everything on Ultra and 4x MSAA. If anything, the optimization is incredibly good.

Well my game crashed 3 times now in the span of 2 hours... and I'm german, not russian... so I guess it's not the russians fault, innit?

13. В дополнительных параметрах системы - быстродействие - визуальные эффекты - поставьте Обеспечить наилучшее быстродействия и галочки напротив Сглаживание шрифтов и Вывод эскизов вместо значков.
14. В электропитании установите высокую производительность.
15. Установите прогу Kerish Doctor - почистите ПК. Настройте ПК в разделах программы: Центр рекомендаций, Оптимизация атозагрузки, Оптимизация служб, Оптимизация соединения.
16. Установите AusLogics.BoostSpeed версию Portable и в разделе: Обслуживание запустите сканер, затем внимательно активируйте нужные Вам изменения.
В разделе инструменты - Твик менеджер пройдите все настройки и оптимизируйте их.
17. Установите MSI Afterburner и в настройках в разделе кулер поставьте галочку.
18. Проверьте ВЕСЬ свой ПК на вирусы: adwcleaner и защитником Windows.
19. В разделе: Конфигурация системы (msconfig) - загрузки поставьте галочки: Число процессоров и Максимум памяти.
20. В редакторе локальной групповой политики (SQL) - gpedit.msc - Админ. шаблоны - Сеть - Ограничить резервную пропускную способность поставьте ВКЛЮЧЕНО и пропишите: 0.
21. Проверьте целостности файловой системы через команду - sfc /scannow.
22. В steam в параметрах запуска игры пропишите следующее: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -high -malloc = system -FPS.

-high uses A LOT more electricity. Don't do this. I lost 46 kilowatts due to this. Learn from my mistake. You're welcome. And I haven't crashed even with it off.. You're saying to use pubg launch options, which dont really work anymore..

Stutter Horizon 4..... it was working just fine before the "Various Stability Improvements" Seriously about to go to MS store JUST FOR this damn game.......

Seriously, the game worked okay before today. How is it okay for a dev to just break their game's performance like this?

BAD UPDATE (for my FH4 experience!)

Before Season 34 update:
- Team Games ALWAYS crashed
- Micro stutters (55 fps drop) constantly,
- mega stutters (40 fps drop) every few mins,
- Random closing of game.
- coming out of home, lots of stutters for 1 min.

After Season 34 Update:
- Team Games playable
- Micro stutters non existent,
- Mega stutters never happened
- Random closing/crashing rarely
- coming out of home fine (not totally smooth but fine!).


After this update:
- Micro stutters AGAIN (56 fps drop),
- Mega stutters AGAIN (45ish FPS drop)
- coming out of home, lots of stutters for 1 min.


My Specs:
CPU = R5 4600H
GPU = GTX 1650
RAM = 16GB
STORAGE = NVM,E SSD
WINDOWS VERSION = WINDOWS 10 HOME (20H2 BUILD), 19042.906

GAME SETTINGS:
- MIXTURE OF MEDIUM AND HIGH
- DYNAMIC OPTIM. OFF


NOTE: I HAVE TRIED ALL SORTS OF COMBINATION OF SETTINGS TO REMOVE STUTTERS BEFORE SEASON 34 ERA. FROM VERY LOW TO ULTRA, VSYNC OFF-ON, 1080P TO 720P, Dynamic Optimization On-Off and lots more but no success. So it is NOT my GPU or CPU's incapacity.

Honestly! I'm no sim-racer or anything but c'mon.... the flicking EVERY TIME I PASS A CAR/OBSTACLE?! while drifting is rather....headache inducing.... And I know my PC surpasses the recommended specs (according to steam..) and I don't seem to be the only one with this issue... @Playgroundgames ......

I am so tired of trying to fix micro stuttering. After this update it gets even worse, good to know that devs are working on it but for now the most important update should remove stuttering.

damn, I knew there was stuttering issue! but the thing is I played both microsoft store and steam version on the very same pc and for some reason I feel like ms store was/is more stable/optimized or whatever you call it.
I bought the steam version after playing the game with gamepass. and just like the others mentioned above, the game (steam version) was fine like 2 days ago.

Can anyone answer this question? I bought this on steam with ultimate edition (the car pass, both map expansions, blah blah..) If I buy the barebones game on MS store, can I sign in using my steam-linked MS account, and still have all my cars/dlc (as if nothing happened?) and pick up where I left off? or would I start entirely over...again.?
