Slap on race tires, an adjustable front splitter and a wang, then set downforce to max

I watched a few videos here https://www.youtube.com/c/HokiHoshi/videos and there's more on youtube. If you google "forza horizon 4 tuning" lots of guides, even Apps in the playstore or excel sheets pop up

Use stock tires, get the 1.5 limit slip and increase horsepower. Make sure the car is RWD.

JK XD

Not sure why some might have problems with this. Are you playing with the keyboard? If so, I suggest using a controller, if you don't have access to a wheel. Also, don't trust the assists. They make the driving a lot worse.

There is a learning curve to getting used to car behavior in this game, like there is in any other game. Once you get it, it's actually quite fun and you'll be wishing you car gets loose a bit more often.

*You have to have the spoiler for grip, its called downforce. The "style" of your car matters.
*Turn on traction control in difficulty settings, maybe stability control.
*slow down for corners, I like to use the braking line setting.

I think it is also important to note that just because you can add all the horsepower and engine swap a car, that doesn't mean it is going to be fast if it cannot grip. While Horizon gives you the ability to max out horsepower on cars, it is not always a smart thing to do because you will inevitably run into wheel spin and your car spinning out in corners without assist on. Not sure if that is what OP is doing but just some food for thought! Happy Driving!

Tuning is pretty difficult only people who really spend time trying to learn how to proper tuning can do whatever they want with their cars, including full grip. Thats why many people download made up tunes. There are some basics, like using wider tires, lowering the springs, tuning the front tire lower, etc, etc, but again, you will need to invest a lot of time learning how to properly tune a car. The most important tune for griping is the tire itself. As others said, racing tires are the best for grip. Sadly there are not decent tuning guides as far as i know.

Here is a link to HokiHoshi's Basic Guide to tuning in Horizon 4. It is at least a good starting point for tuning and he also has other videos that break down more advanced tuning as well.

Thats a terrible tutorial. Already watched it ages ago. It only tells you what everything does, but it doesnt tell you how to tune the car for pure speed, acceleration, etc. As i said, i never found a good tutorial. Had to learn by myself, and after two years and a half i still dont know many many things. You can rely on the small descriptions to do basic things, but it wont matter because everything is too confusing and terribly explained.
