Assuming you're coming from a standard edition, Ultimate comes with VIP car pass, all DLC inclusion (minus the free Mitsubishi pack and other free packs which must be acquired manually for some reason, and Hotwheels DLC which is now gone forever) plus LEGO Champions, which even if you don't like LEGO its an easy way to open up money making opportunities and other unlock, and Fortune Island which in of itself is full of treasure chests with 1,000,000 credits in them each not to mention an island with good rally and cross country courses. YOu also get VIP pass which doubles your income indefnitely so theres that.
I bought Ultimate back in 2019 for 20 dollars and haven't regretted a bit of it, but I'm also a car guy.
HARD NO.
You don't get all the extra promised cars, the gift cars aren't redeemable, the menus were programmed by a retarded chicken, the racing is ok but pretty cartoon-y, & there's no chance at 100% achievements if that matters to you.
It's an Xbox game, so I should have kept my expectations lower, but even worse, it's a bad Xbox port.
It's Microsoft. Expect ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You will only be a little let down then.
Queue all the fangirls... but IDGAF, it's a mediocre game at best & not worth $20.
Lego Valley is kinda meh, the only noteworthy thing about it is "everything is made out of Lego". Still, more tracks is more tracks.
There are some nice cars in Car Pass, like Honda NSX GT, Hoonigan version of Ford Escort Cosworth, or '68 Mustang with 6.4L V8.
Also, Formula Drift, if you like drifting in purpose-built cars.
I think Lego Valley has some good tracks too. The southern dirt circuit is great, and I love the different layouts at the raceway, including a true banked oval.
The removal of the digital game from Steam and Microsoft/Xbox Stores forever. The game's licences run out on 15th December so it will be removed. You can still buy it from 3rd party key sellers (assumin you want to risk it) or buy it on disc though
after the 15th december you re not able to buy it anymore, it will disappear from steam, ms store, game pass, ...
so you only can get console copies, keys, ... but for sure scalpers will call heavy prices i guess :)
