Mods for seasons?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if a mod to unlock the seasons was in the works? I don't understand why the devs didn't do that before taking the game off the store.

Hitman has the Peacock mod to allow online related stuff to be emulated by other mods, so it's could be possible. But that game has a pretty dedicated modding community, this doesn't.
As for Turn 10, I doubt they have anyone even moderating the game anymore given the prevalence of cheaters. Unless there's a car in the game that can do 2.4KM off a danger sign that I wasn't aware of.

Where could I find this mod? And the big reason i ask about a mod like that is to fully 100% the game and unfortunately, that can't be done without a mod to allow access to the seasonal challenges

There is no mod to manually change seasons, although you can try to go offline and manually change your system date, since I read that it might work (I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it actually works)

But even if there was a mod you can't 100% the game anymore (without Steam Achievement Manager) since there are some achievements tied to the Festival Playlist which was ended a few months ago.

Yea, I know, but already did those on Xbox years before getting it on steam. I will try that though, thanks

Fair warning: messing around with your system clock to complete past series runs a very real risk of getting yourself banned.

I just noticed that I have been saying seasons, I meant to say series. I am sorry for being dumb

Wait, really? even after the game is done being sold? That seems a little stupid, ngl

I mean I don't know if they'd bother anymore, but I know I've heard of people who got banned for it in the past. It may be an automated thing. At least for now I'd say it isn't worth the risk. You can still get (essentially) every car in the game through legitimate means, though it'll take a while.

yes it will force a ban, a guy was banned some weeks ago so changing stuff to "time travel" isn t the best idea :) same with modding mclaren p1 owens edition, using a trainer for speedup etc., ...
