FH 4 Stuttering & FPS Drops

So when i bought the game 2 weeks ago i saw that when i have vsync on my fps just randomly falls by 2 and the game freezes for a sec and without vsync im having about 100-130 fps on high settings but it still feels like its laggy or something like that. Any idea how to fix it


PC SPECS:
i5 8500
gtx 1060 6GB
ram 16 gb

for me i set my V-Sync to on. somehow it helps maintain the game from stuttering

its better but my fps is dropping by 2 which is noticeable and there is a small freeze when the fps drops and i realized when i have vsync on my gpu usage doesnt want to go to 100% its like it caps itself and stays around 50-70%

My game is stuttering and crashing at least once when I play it. Half the time I can't tell if its stuttering or turning slow-mo. I almost try not to bring up the menu now, can't swap a car in a forzathon without risking a crash

Dude stop saying nonsense. How in heck are you going to notice a framedrop of 2 frames??? thats ridiculous. And it has nothing to do with the stuttering. They are two different things.

To get rid of stutter, VSYNC is essential. If after activating VSYNC you still have stutter issues... then its a problem of the game/steam. Dont overthink on it. Most people have the same problem.

You could also try to deactivate vsync in-game and activate it from your videocard control panel instead. But one thing, if you dont activate vsync you are going to have stutter ALWAYS no matter how high is your framerate.

if the fps drops below my refresh rate its horribly noticeable wdym even if its 1 fps it feels like its dropped like 20-30

I contact FH4 Support for Stuttering, and he say to me, i must this send to FH4 Support, really !!!!

i have over 1 Month all settings testing and have no more idea for fix !
And i see no better Performance Update for the next times !

All the same bad Performance, only in Offline Mode is little better for stutter and crashes.

Also have terrible stuttering, but a it was fixed or far less before the last patch. Seems like these developers are clueless on how to fix.

After so many trials and errors i finally found a permanent solution for the FH4 Steam version stuttering issue .... I've just dropped the video on YouTube and here's the link https://youtu.be/FFv-4f4d9gM

The steam version is experiencing stutter for 90% of the players. They say they are aware of the problem but still haven't fixed it.

the idea here was decreasing your vram size to around 1 gb and also try to lower fps with vsync on so that your gpu dont hit 100% usage. this trick helped me to get almost stutter free foza now. i barely get any stutters now

Last patch fixed stutters completely for me. It was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to wait months for a fix but hopefully FH5 will be playable at launch as a result.
