Auction car not sold, how to get rid of car ?

Hi I want to get rid of some barnfind cars, which can not be sold. No one wants them. So I have the last 4 ones in my list. Auction was not successful. How many days do I have to last them on my list til they get erased? I know somebody told this can help, and are those slots locked til they get eraed? thx.

Don't claim the car and it'll be deleted in 60 days

Most of the barn cars have decent to top tier performance. Unless you have copies due to accidental buys in AH, why would you get rid of them? (Some even necessary for achievements)

I can empathise with the original post, I'm at the stage where I'm getting duplicates from wheelspins / seasonal prizes and sometimes it doesn't give you the option to sell immediately. The auctions are full of people trying to get rid off really common and barn finds. If there was an option I'd set the prices to free and I would still bet there would be no takers.

You can't get barn find cars through the wheelspin..

For any other cars, when you select them in My cars (or Start Auction) you can pick the "Remove Car from your garage" or something similar. I forgot the exact wording but it is the last option and that just dumps your car out of your collection. No money gained but better than having an unwanted dupe that won't sell in Auction house.

Barn find cars can't be removed this way, since technically every player should only get one unless they bought a copy through Auction house (or that Chinese New Year Livery Jaguar that was sent to all? players even though they had the original Jaguar in their garage)

Forgot about the "remove car from garage" option. That solves that issue at least. Still not happy about duplicate prizes though should have been designed in a way to remove stuff you already have from the spins.

When I get duplicates in the spins they pretty much ask me if I want exchange it for cash. Usually I do that since I dislike the AH a lot, unless it's a car people want, which I then sell to the cheapest price possible.
I think you cant delete some unique cars such as Barn Finds or Pre-Orders (I accidentally bought one Barn Find, and found this out very quickly). In this case dump them in the AH and if they don't sell, let them there until they disappear... at least they wont fill your garage.

It would help me, if we could remove those barnfinds from garage. so the only way is like you said in auctions. but no one buys. that is not good for me.
I will do what MBK said, dont touch and wait 60 days.
The reason is: I want overview. I do not want tons of cars i dont like and dont drive. its a little bit neurotic of me, lol I know, but I want only a few cars. and i always erase the blueprints of paints and so on, when I sell a car. dont want hundread of sticks, car paint and so on ^^

I see. To each their own then. I personally want to try out all the cars eventually, didn't like how in most racing games I only end up driving like 3 cars due to monetary issue or lack of purpose to develop more cars. Here I have driven and tuned like 150+ cars, and probably will do more with the everchanging weekly events

thats not me.
I dont play a game 500+ hours and I dont want to own 500 cars.
I have my 20-25 cars and thats enough.
all the others have to leave. so i must get rid of them.
I did some auctions with all barnfinds I dont need.
and marked in my calendar when 60 days are gone ^^

On the subject of Barn Finds….when each is restored I am told to go to Garage to claim the restored car, but never see a Garage Tab…where do I find “Garage”?

go to your house or festival
on top tab click "garage"
then on right side "barn finds"
