NVIDIA Related Game Crashes

We’re aware that some PC players running an NVIDIA GPU are experiencing unexpected crashing in the Steam version of Forza Horizon 4. We recommend downloading and installing the studio driver or driver version 522.25 through NVIDIA’s website:

It's been over two weeks since the last branch update on steamdb. That does not seem like the devs are doing much to solve this.

It was a month from the time the devs uploaded a fix on their end before it was released globally to us, and their last behind the scenes patch was a few weeks ago now, so hopefully we'll see another major patch in the coming weeks.

it wirks for AMD GPU owners, so they wont, and they say it works for NVidia GPU owners and that it was fixed on their end. and Steam dont care, even if its past the 2hr limit by 5 min. this is a "it just works"

Not true. I returned it with nearly three hours on the clock and days beyond the buy. But this is a title within thousands and although well known, this issue may not even made some news at Valve at all. So, the more people request a refund with a notion on the crash, the more likely it is, something will happen here.

Maybe. Even if it does happen, I can't help but feel like the turnaround times are ludicrously long.

Not if you run and old driver and dont have a 40* series gpu.

I can play for as long as I like with a 3070 and 516.94 driver.

I have gtx 1650 and i cant even launch the game no matter which driver I have installed

It now crashes when loading into the game with 522.25, a driver that worked a few weeks ago

i did, i think some more too, but seems most gamers are too stup1d to do it, i dont mind the ranting here, hell i endorse it, but, go and leave the negative review with the relevant information, and also report the game to steam via the flag in the FH4 store page down in the right side column, report it as not working on nvidia hardware.

PLayground Games dont care, its working for 99% of people, only 1% ie nVidia GPU owners are having the issue. It works on the MS store and xbox. They have FH 5 and it works 100% so thats what they are focused on

just an example, Playground games do not care. when the game works on the MS store and Xbox and for AMD Gpu owners, and they have FH 5 that works for everyone. and the FH5 event going on. Also they have said it has been fixed on their end, and say its steam and NVidia fault. I have it on Xbox game Pass and it works 100% on my PC and my Xbox, so why would they care about Steam, i have it on Epic games and it works there as well. Its just Steam

By the way, two years ago this game had constant crashes in specific places, which made me to give a negative review despite all positive moments of it. I couldn't made all "taxi" missions, missions with retro racings and so on. I've checked, and that was common problem. Something like lack of compatibility with Windows Desktop (?). Oh, and it was on AMD GPU

that was then , now its nVidias turn. then it will go back to AMD. i have 60 games installed right now. all work 100% with the latest nVidia drivers, FH 4 is the only issue (on steam) on xbox game pass on pc and xbox its 100% fine
