Cars rev to 100% upon launching game
im using a logitech G29 racing wheel with the shifter. Whenever i launch the game any car i use starts to rev to 100% and the brake lights are on, shifting gears changes nothing, holding any combination of buttons does nothing, pressing on the clutch and gas as if i were peddling a bike gets the car moving but once i stop it screeches to a halt. the same issue happens when i use a regular ps4 controller. i have restarted my computer, verified game cache and started the game with and without logitech ghub. im at a genuine loss and cannot determine the issue. Any help will be appreciated

Have you tried the old Logitech Gaming Software? I've read that it's more compatible with Steam FH4 than using the G29 with Ghub.

Sounds like your controller mapping needs work. Are your pedals "linked" in the software or are they separate? If you can set them to separate axis and tweak the deadzone settings until you get them to work properly.

Another thing, if you mainly use a steering wheel with this game you could try disabling Steam Input from game properties which forces it to use the Logitech/Windows input mappings.

I had to do this with my Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2 for my T500RS.

i have disabled steam input and my pedals and steering wheel are working fine, just not playing nice with fh4. Additionally my camera is now constantly being turned to the left, i have never been so confused in my life.

Do you have any other controllers or peripherals connected? And have you tried to remap controls in the game settings? It almost sounds like one of the pedals is behaving like "right stick" and spinning the camera.
