Steering wheel setup is atrocious
Have a Logitech G29 wheel. Works great with ACC and other games. With FH4 it seems like it is emulating a controller...meaning that at a certain point when the wheel is turned the car's wheels turn a lot all at once. If the road has a curve and you turn the wheel it will not follow the curve of the road. So you have to constantly move it back and forth to center. Kind of like using a game pad where you have to flick the stick to steer. I tried settings that were recommended...same thing. How much time is reasonable to spend making a very popular wheel work with a car racing game? I can't enjoy this game now. What a waste.

Oh, I used to play forza 1 and 2 on the 360 quite a bit. Even on that platform the MS steering wheel never really worked great.

Definitely feels like it thinks the wheel is a controller to me.

g923 here. Except the small deadzone in the center of the wheel and the freezing up of game, I don't have too many issues with the steering myself tbh.

Crossing my fingers though here, that this issue or these issues will get resolved and also, Captain21, that sounds like a nice option.

I want the game if I can use my wheel (G923), if not I think I'll refund.

It's not a game that's suitable to a wheel, let's be honest. Neither is FH5. If you want a good wheel experience, play Automobilista 2, AC, ACC, ETS2/ATS etc. Or just wait for the upcoming AC EVO.
