Can the James Bond cars abilities be used?

So I bought the James Bond DLC, I did drive one car with the fins into the ocean with no effect. There are 3 other cars, how can one use these??

The cars not going to do anything to your driving. You won't be able to blow up other cars in front of you. Or spike cars tires behind you so they can't get ahead of you. You just getting the cars from the movies... That is all. No Gadgets included in the cars...

I do understand that you wont be able to do anything in races or to others as this would most def cause havoc in the population. However this was advertised on the gaming videos as we speak. If we can move these parts o something somehow or somewhere. Otherwise this is just plain false advertising. Purely cosmetic is what I am hoping for at least

Isn't there at least a visual submarine option on the Esprit? I swear I've seen screenshots of it.

They cannot be used in game, purely cosmetic (you can see some weapons of the cars being activated for show on the spinning loading sections between races but that's it). As for the Fin conversion on the Esprit, it improves racing performance acting as aerodynamic boost, but the game map does not reach ocean area since it's a racing game not an RPG or full exploration game. So sadly you cannot use it to dive into lakes or oceans, there is nothing but the void inside them.

Only the Lotus has such major conversion, everything else is just concealed weapons I think. Haven't used all the cars yet (planning to)
