South Island Circuit (Season co-op championship) impossible to win

Hello,
i don't know what is happening with the current season event in Fortune Island, it is like the 10th time i try this, and every player is destroyed by the drivatars in the end. I know he event i not obligatory for any achievements or rewards, but i would like to know if other players experienced the same situation.

That's the road race on the steep hill, right? The AI is insanely fast on that one for some reason.

I like challenges, but with the random disconnection of the servers and the unfair ia sending the entire team to the last places in 5 seconds, it is a little bit frustrating.

I'm honestly not sure. Is this a normal seasonal championship, or the Trial for the week? If it's the Trial, I pretty much accepted losing that race and tried to get wins in the other two.

autumn trails then, ai on fortune island is kinda tough cause they are fast and the race is too long you would get tired and lose focus
s1 modern supercar has a lot options to choose, but one thing to bear in mind the first race is in heavy rain, so c8 corvette is no go
