This weeks trial

Has anyone else noticed this week's trial is insanely overtuned. AI driving like Artyom Senna for the top 3 spots without fail...

And holy f..k that last jump at the 3rd level cost me the 3rd trial now. So annoying, my car gets always effed by the water but of course the unbeatable drivatars just race through water like nothing. I am really pissed.

Yeah that third track is absolutely cancerous. Between this and that damn 6.5mil car needed last week, makes you wonder.

I took a break after the 4th attempt, I guess I will leave the trial for later.

Got it on my third attempt and even then we lost the third race. The final checkpoint in the third race is unreal...

Yep if You are lucky that Your team mates do not choke in the first race...

Seems like the issue is cross country event wide. I've just been doing the ones for the mini challenge. Normally I do everything on unbeatable and win reliably, but now I've had to drop the difficulty all the way to highly skilled for cross country events and even then the AI is up my arse the entire race. No idea what has changed.

I play on highly skilled - the game prompts me all of the time to play it on Expert, but I just want to enjoy the game :D The cross country events were not so bad on Highly skilled and also the PR stunt challenges were easy.

The only stuff left over are the Trial and PGG 😒 I have the feeling they did change the AI so that the encore?! achievement will be harder to get. Just a theory 🤣

No, nothing has changed. The AI always cheats mercilessly in cross-country events.

i did it on the first attempt. bowler with my own tune. won races 2 and 3 after getting rammed by a team"mate" on the first race missing a gate and coming in last <.<

Yeah, but it doesn't matter how good a driver you are if your teammates are ♥♥♥♥ in the trials... And due to how damn cheaty the AI is in cross country rn they've gotta be pretty good players.

Also noticed that the AI was full on cheating too though. They'd start to roll and then suddenly rubberband back onto the perfect racing line, or they'd entirely miss a checkpoint and not even care, and so on.

This is ♥♥♥♥! Third race is impossible, and others are very tough.

EDIT: Got it after 5 or 7 attempts. First two races are critical, third one is impossible.

I got lucky, all my team mates quite in the first race so it was just me. Came 1st in race 1 and 2, then finished 6th in the last race while not making any mistakes or missing checkpoints. I forgot the trials are MUCH harder in FH4 than in FH5.

If you win please list cars and tune. Half the team even run untuned cars. How are we supposed to win..
