Strugging with Forzathon Challenge

So I'm chapter 2 called Full Throttle where I need to get 20 Ultimate Drift or E-Drift Skills in a Rally Monster. I'm using the same car which I used for chapter 1 of this challenge and I'm sure I hit over 20 E-drifts in a single run but for some reason the challenge is not registering. What am I doing wrong? Anybody else struggling with this one?

No need to do them all in one run. Just find an open field and do ultimate drifts til you get it. You can keep track of how many you have in the menu.

If you're having trouble getting Ultimate Drifts, it can help to turn off traction control in the difficulty settings.

Go to settings then turn off traction control. Now open the map and fast travel to the long highway road that has round circle road. Just drift around the circle and you will get it done

keep trying to get Ultimate drift. You dont have to do it in one go

I'm still at 1/20 for this chapter lol and have just learned I can't even progress Chapters 3 & 4 without completing 2 first. Btw, how do you turn off traction control? I can't see an option for it in the settings. I even went to a player house and tried there.

Edit: Found it in the difficulty settings.

just take a good powerful car and go to an area like windmills and lower flowerfields, ... ;) should be working easy there with that much space :) good luck

Thanks very much guys. I managed to get it. My best tip for anyone else struggling:
- Go through actual corners while holding the acceleration down full
Took a little while and many windy roads. Turning off traction control was also great. Kinda makes me want to keep it off now.

shifting manual, traction and stability control off and simulated steering are important gamechangers :) depending on your setup and skills i would learn/use sim steering as last of them, manual shifting before :)

i dont know, what setup i have, but i did it on windy roads with longer turns and initiate drift with hadbrake, full throtle and trying to make it long drift ... didnt take long to get it done (even tho i did more Great drifts than Ultimate, but you get hang of it if you try enough)

i meant if controller or keyboard @ setup :D

im using keyboard, but i meant ingame help, traction and stuff. i just kept mine at default and went with it (i only change Drivatar diff if needed for quest)
