Forza almost works perfectly except with Fanatec wheel

Basically since the latest patch and update during the last few days I have had one crash using a controller. Even online sessions seemed improved and no micro stutter.

However using a fanatec cs v2.5 base with cs elite pedals and WRC wheel which is supported, Forza still crashes constantly.

Crashes joining a drivertar versus session
Sometimes crashes near end of race
Crashes with wheel when disconnected from online sessions and rejoining an online session
Random crashes with wheel on rewinds
Fine in open world until rewind.

Anything with a transition scene or a migration of networking or state of the connection to online session seems to cause a crash with the fanatec setup and it causes micro stutters.
