Seeing a stock car up for Auction that im keen on would make me buy it more.
Most buy to add to the collection so throw a few cars up on 24hrs.
Hope it works out for you.
The design of the auction house is not broken. It is just terrible. I guess its the same thing.
This is the best and only way to get good money. Just take in mind that the game has been out for a while and most people have all the cars already, which has reduced their value.
Combine this with grinding the end-game huge tracks, or make your own huge tracks and do a couple of laps there. Play in Unbeatable with no assists to boost your credit prize. Also don't forget to apply perks to your cars. Some might give you boosters to make even more money.
And last, if you have the Ultimate Edition or have bought Fortune Island, do the treasure hunts. This will give you a few millions quickly, while have some fun.
Wait for the new Pontiac Firebird to be released in 2 weeks.
One day later, when it gets unlocked in the auction house, grab as many as you can for 100k - 300k
Wait 2 - 3 weeks and sell each one of them for 20 mil
This is how I became billionaire in no time.
The old saying you've gotta have money to make money still rings true. And I still find it to be the best method of making money in-game for the amount of effort you're putting in.
Also, if you have any extra backstage passes or don't mind using one or two to get your legs under you financially. Buy the Ferrari 599XX Evo, list it on the auction house, go back and buy another and just rinse and repeat. It always gets bought out for around 8.5 - 9.5m in under 5 minutes.

The last one you can buy for 150,000 in autoshow. After unlocking the 300,000 card from mastery you can just delete it from your garage and do it again. So even if you don't own any of the cars, if you have skill points you can win 150,000 credits each time you buy that car.
People will sell a new car that they've never had? And if they do, won't they put maximum price on it since there's bound to be buyers?
Nope. the action house AI needs a few days until it can adjust the maximum buyout price to match the demand. During that time the Gladiator will (most likely) be sold dirt cheap. 2 - 3 weeks later the buyout price cap will raise with the demand and those who bought it shortly after it's debut will profit, big time!
I remember buying the Rimac C Two for 130k credits and selling it for 20 Million cr a few weeks later.
And adding the fact that the Gladiator is completely new to the Forza franchise and it's a car from 2020, the demand fir it will be even higher.
Advanced tactic is using filters like cars from 2020 or others. Newly added cars are usually hard to snipe in the release-week
The demand for cars does matter and you can measure it when you look at how quick your auctioned car gets sold. If it's gone within a few femto seconds, then it's really hot. And if the demand is high then you should wait because the price will raise.
It's the same as for example new consoles get released. Nobody is making any offers but still everyone is running to the store to get one. It's same with Forza
The reason why newly added cars skyrocket in price is not because of some bug or something. It's natural and can be explained. It's when a car gets brought into the game, the only way of getting it is by doing the weekly festival playlist and after the playlist expires, there is no other way to get it for a certain time and everyone who missed it is storming the auction house and the price raises along with the price cap.
You spend 150K on the car, and with getting 300K, you make 150K profit.
