Livery editor controls for pc

Been trying to figure out the livery system but all resources I consult are for console and completely neglect M&KB control. For starters, I have not found any means to move applied shapes faster with a keyboard, at this rate I have to setup a macro to tap the arrows keys 1000 times for me because I cannot figure out if there is a drag system for mouse. Anything I try to find on steam regarding the editor is mainly referring to achievements or how to import images. The editor itself is rather primitive and it does not help that detailed guides for M&KB are scant. The discussions that do apply to my conundrum are either deleted or archived.

I would appreciate any useful resource on the matter
