Redeeming token without gamepass

Okay, this may be confusing but let me explain: somewhere in 2022, one of my friends gifted me a lego speed dlc, right now after seeing the sad news about game being delisted in 15th December, i wondering if i can get game token in xbox without gamepass (last time i paid gamepass was January of 2023). Please let me know thank you! (Editing here: I forgot to give some details but my friend actually gifted me on Xbox while i was playing with gamepass)
