i am a keyboard player need some help
see its not that i have no other options i have controllers but personally controllers never felt good to me for racing games. and i have no space for steering wheels.
I play arcade racers and never really had any issues with keyboard controls but this game is really different. there is just so much options in the tuneup. Also cars which have 10 in handling start up like someone kicked a sleeping dog in the pavement(really really hard).
Now i have no idea about real cars, so all i want to know is how to setup the TUNEUP so that it favours the keyboard player and the car don't slide around all the time.
I already have controls set to easy mode. How do i setup the "TUNE UP" so that the gameplay feels arcade like?

Again i know different cars will require different kinds of tuneup? I am just looking for a good tuneup that works in most cases, if thats possible.

Another side question i have is about Car Class in races. Sometimes i get in races and the other cars are all different class it seems. And they are simply too fast. I have zero knowledge about cars aside from games that i play. How do i know which series of cars is apt for which race on the map?

learning by doing if you re up to tune your own cars. it was the same for me :) you don t really need an easy mode, i m on keyboard too with manual, simulated steering, traction and stability control off. for now using awd would change much for you.

people are just not able to setup races properly with a clear class/category.

tell me though which category cars are best suited for dirt, gravel and mud road races?

is weight of the car the deciding factor. because if i take S2 cars (i have no idea what s2 really is -all i know is that its fast) it just keeps sliding whereas slower but bulky cars are better at handling (again handling rating has nothing to do with it - because my s2 car i have mentioned above has a 10 for handling) on dirt, gravel and muddy race tracks?

all pretty individual and don t give a *beep* because of stats, not really means much...even worse stats at accleration can launch better as the good stats, ...

i build a s1 899 car for that kind of stuff or even more...you can use it on any road and even just going thru map is much fun...

its named hoonigan rs 200 evolution and the code for my tune to download is (S1 899) 103 694 013
