Loading, please wait .... forever
Just bought FH4. Logged in to xbox account.
When I click 'continue' in game menu to start the game. It just says 'Loading, please wait' and nothing happens (music stil plays, car menu animation still plays).

I have tried the following but nothing worked.
- Verified game install.
- Run as administrator.
- Googled the issue. Seems others have the same. Delete 'hml' file in directory should work, but file does not exist in Steam version.
- deleted Targethadwareprofile.dll in game directory.

Any other ideas?

Also another issue.
If I click setting instead of continue. The screen get blurred and no setting menu appears. If I move the mouse it says click click click like I move over a menu. I just cant see it.

Run win 11, 32 GB ram, 4070TI 12GB

navigating to the directory (steamapps/common/forza 4) and deleting "targetHardwareprofiler.dll" solved the issue for me.

"targetHardwareprofiler.dll" did not solved it for me.
BUT, found a solution on the web. Open nVidia controlcenter and force v-sync 'on' in the 3D menu.
Now everything works. No idea why that solution works.
