Given you've had no interest in playing the game for the last two months (almost, end of June nearly, you claim you bought in April) does this really bother you that much?
There should be an upgrade path to Ultimate if you already own standard though.
Given you have no playtime at all, that could work in your favour. Maybe contact Steam Support and attempt a refund citing inability to upgrade to Ultimate Edition and see if they'll grant it so you can pick it up that way.
Same situation here lol. I'm gonna wait for summer sale if if gets more than 80% off then I'll consider buying the ultimate edition again otherwise I happy with what i have and just wait for next horizon game
This is Like crying that you buy a Game at release for full Price and 2 Months later IT gets a 20% Sale lol.
The older it gets the cheaper it goes
