Give us upgrade from standard edition to ultimate edition without the need to buy the whole thing again!

On last sale (end of April) i finally bought Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition for ~€23 (it was for €23 on every sale, for years, dozens of times, same price all the time - after so many years, I lost hope for a better discount so i bought it... and when I did it... rapidly now Ultimate Edition is for €19,99! There is no upgrade to Ultimate Edition, no discount for players who own base game - nothing! You can buy Ultimate Edition AGAIN or stay with standard edition... Ultimate Edition cost the same if you own base game or not. I feel cheated right now... I just spent €23 for standard edition and now i have to pay €20 more to upgrade it to ultimate edition...

We want upgrade to Ultimate Edition with -80% off price!

Whilst I get your frustration, according to your profile, you haven't earned a single achievement or even played the game yet?

Given you've had no interest in playing the game for the last two months (almost, end of June nearly, you claim you bought in April) does this really bother you that much?

There should be an upgrade path to Ultimate if you already own standard though.

Given you have no playtime at all, that could work in your favour. Maybe contact Steam Support and attempt a refund citing inability to upgrade to Ultimate Edition and see if they'll grant it so you can pick it up that way.

Same situation here lol. I'm gonna wait for summer sale if if gets more than 80% off then I'll consider buying the ultimate edition again otherwise I happy with what i have and just wait for next horizon game

Because I will play it... I just finished FH1 on Xbox One (Bought only for FH 1, 2 and 3 and GoW 2, 3 and Judgment). I will play FH 2 and 3 on Xbox and then 4 and 5 on steam.

I bought Xbox One especially to play FH 1, 2 and 3... When I finish them all (Finished 1st one on April) I will play FH4 and 5... I just bought base game and now ultimate edition is cheaper than base game on last sale. I couldn't refund it and buy Ultimate Edition, there is no option to buy season pass, some upgrade (very common thing in racing games) or DLCs only. I can only buy the game again to get U.E. 🤬

That's BS, they removed your options to "upgrade" to UE by buying DLC. You should definitely be allowed to refund the game since you haven't played it yet. You're going to buy it again anyway so who cares? It's not like Microsoft is using the lost money to improve anything anyway.

me also bought the deluxe edition a year ago. having fun, now i realized i missed the island dlc. i don't really want to buy the game again to access the dlc. why did they do this????

The problem isn't that it's cheaper, but that you can't upgrade to Deluxe but you have to buy it again like you don't own base game...
