Spielstand vom MS Store

Moin,
ich hab grade gesehen, dass FH4 bei Steam im Angebot ist. Ich hab das damals über den MS Store gekauft, hier kam das ja erst später heraus.
Jetzt ist aber die Frage, ob mein Spielstand von früher übernommen wird oder ich komplett neu anfange?

Officially, the game doesn't support save transfers[support.forzamotorsport.net]. I have played FH4 through XBOX Game Pass on Windows 10 a while back, and I was interested in perhaps transferring it, if I were to buy it on Steam at a later date.

However, there is this guide on reddit that might work. I'm not going to try it, because I don't have plans to buy the game, but if you're buying it, you might as well give it a shot.

Additionally, there is this tool on GitHub[github.com] as well, that might work as well.

Unfortunately neither the Tool or the Guide work for Forza Horizon 4. They do work for FH5 though.

Thanks man. I will play with a new savegame. And for 20€, shut up and take my money. It was a god game.

Thanks, with the Github Tool GPSaveConverter it looked that it worked but when starting the game I receive an error stating that the Profile was moved and cant be found anymore. Eventhough I used the same Xbox Profile on GP and Steam Version and the save files have the same User Profile name. The Reddit Guide is for an older FH Version and I couldnt find all files somehow but as the github tool found them and copied them over it might just not work for this game maybe.

But when I edit 2 files according to that Reddit guide the game still showed unable to load my save but it showed me my Xbox progress and asked if I want to restore. That still doesnt work but maybe I did something wrong on which another file needs to be edited and there is still hope as it recognized my progress at least?
