Forza Horizon 4 - starts and crashes

for the last 4-5 months my horizon 4 starts and goes into the loading screen and after a couple of seconds...crashes. I contact the game developer but they couldn't fix it. Any suggestions?

What does the MS store have to do with it? People write to steam because they have a steam version of the game...

Hey everyone, I've deliberately avoided playing the game for the past few weeks. Now I thought it would work again with the last patch. And the result is that it keeps crashing on me. It loads, and then comes the message that "ForzaHorizon4.exe" has stopped working. Even a complete reinstallation didn't help. I bought the game at the end of December 2022 and couldn't even play it for 20 hours.
I meet all system requirements: Ryzen 5 2600X, RTX2070, MSI B450M, 32GB
Do others get the message with the exe file?

Steam version has an issue now. It's either game not launching with massive RAM usage for Steam exe OR hard crashing the PC time to time

well im playing FH 4 now, max ram is only 40-50% cpu at 20-50%, GPU 80-100%. all on a 1650 super, i5 11600k, and 16gb ram. steam is 245mb ram use, FH4 about 4500 mb ram use also running the latest win 11 update

I don't know if this will help or not, however, when I used to play FH3, the game would crash pretty soon after loading into the game. What I had to do was go into the task manager, and end all NahimicService processes. After that, the game went on for at least an hour. I'm not sure if this will be the same issue with this game, but it might be.

I am having the same issue - when I start the game i have task manager open and the memory usage for Steam absolutely skyrockets and then it switches to Forza 4 with like 97% memory usage and then crashes....Microsoft support is useless and when i go to the Forza support they instantly close my ticket as "solved" and tell me to go to Steam Support, Steam Support say to go to Forza support or Microsoft..Micorsoft support say to go to Steam Support...i am in circles!

with Steam and FH4, my CPU is 5-20%( with everything else running in the backround). my Ram is 58-60% and GPU is 100 %. no system spikes or crashes. i5 11600k, 16GB ram and a MSI 1650 Super GPU. i have 2 different hardware and system monitoring programs on my PC. Armory Crate, NZXT Cam, as well as task manager. with no games, right now my CPU is idle at 5-7% ram is about 35%

the issue is caused by dual monitor setup, mine laptop config is Ryzen 4600H + RTX 2060, with externl display connected to nvidia gpu. if i plug in the external monitor, the game wont start and eats up all the memory and then crash.
