I'v got demo forza horizon 4 from Microsoft store not from xbox app and works perfectly on ultra settings, normal startup no frezz or bugs. I play on demo yesterday and today and it's evertyhing fine. But Steam verison i still crash system witch blue screen ''System Service Exception Error''. I fixed all logs, check my drivers, uptade evertyhing and for now steam version of FZ4 still crash up on the start.
Not quite..by that same reasoning I could say that the steam version is perfectly fine as it runs great for me and others. It doesn't work as an argument for either side.
The fact that it works for some, and not for others, means the issue has to be some thing more than just the game, or just someones computer, but more likely something in the middle. That's what I meant by saying it sounds like it could be the game having some issue with hardware/software setups or configurations.
Not saying the game may not have a contributing issue that the devs might need to look at, but we also need to see why it is that this issue only affects certain setups.
As for why someone could run the demo fine, the first thing I can think of would be that the demo isn't the full game, thus does not contain the complete code, even in the parts of the game you can play. In essence , the demo is almost a completely different game than the full version, even though it looks the same, at least on a programming level. Things are taken out, other stuff is added, and even more is moved around.
Our best bet is to continue focusing on the full version of the game, and trying to figure out what those who have crashes and issues have in common, and what they have that differs from those that can run the game fine, and if that leads to finding a flaw in the game, then I agree the devs need to fix it, but if the issue is with us, then we need to stop blaming them and figure out a way to make it work, and if its both, then work with the devs in finding a sloution.
You mentioned that your still crashing with the Blue Screen when the game crashes, is that what happened before, or was the blue screen a one time event, and is that what is happening now when the game crashes?
If not, then when the game crashes, does it just close out to the desktop, does it freeze the screen (and if so, does the audio continue or no), and does it present an error when crashing or no?
First, you mention the blue screens, the first popping up when the memory gets maxed out. Does this blue screen say anything, is it the same blue screen you get later? Do you ever see this little window pop up? https://imgur.com/rEhazYv (Images are from my Imgr acct)
Second, when the screen goes black, video and audio are gone, but not frozen? Are you still able to move your mouse and such? Then it resets, do you mean that explorer and everything just reloads after the black screen?
Next, if you just let it sit and the RAM gets maxed out, it either blue screens or the screen goes black and you have to manually reset/restart your computer? Does the blue screen that comes up look like this? https://imgur.com/D61WNrN
Lastly, if possible, and if you are willing, to either record the process of the crashing and error in a video or screen recording, or to record or take pictures of the errors and such on a phone? I know that's asking a lot, so no worries if not. :)
For the first does not occur.
For the second, up to a certain point, everything works. Mouse window. At the moment, as it comes to the use of 20GB of RAM it hangs explorer, EDGE browser and steam. There is a new bug for the moment, but there is no blue screen or black screen. The game tries to turn on twice and then restarts the above applications and steam and the game does not start.
And for the next yes i got that blue screen:

First, have you already tried verifying the games files? (I'm assuming you did, but just want to be sure)
Next, as odd as it sounds, do you have a Razr branded mouse or Keypad, if so , try disconnecting it, and then start the game (May have to use keyboard commands to navigate windows, or if you have an old mouse you can use.)
Oh, and to help explain the error message, it is stating that the ForzaHorizon executable is crashing, and lists the KernalBase.dll as the reason it's crashing.
This is most commonly caused by the KernalBase DLL file having become corrupted, or damaged (It is a file that used very often by a lot of applications in different ways)
The two most common ways of fixing it, are to run a SFC scan in Windows to check for damaged system files, or to replace the DLL file with a file from another computer running the same version of windows as yours.
Ill keep looking into this, and will keep posting any possible fixes to try that you haven't done already. :)
I have exactly the same problem, bought today the game. Have a totally new PC.
Game does not start and only "eating" RAM like a Zombie
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Geforce 3060Ti , 32 GB Ram and Win 11
And I have no Blue-Screen, starting screen pop up, loading for a few minutes...sometimes black or white screen for a second after failure to load, back to desktop...tried everything now....for hours all tips...nothing worked!
Just re-read through the posts and noticed, you both have a RTX 3060ti (mainly focusing on then being newer Nvidia cards), and also notice that Pablo, you said it worked when you had your 5700 XT in there, I wonder...
If you put the 5700 back in as a test, does the game run fine again?
If you’re on a laptop with external monitor setup, a user on another thread here said unplugging the monitor, starting the game, then replugging it solved it. Also some ppl said having Bluetooth on solved it, which is extremely weird.
I9-12900K, RTX 3080ti, Asus rog strix z690-e mobo, nvme ssd, Corsair vengeance 64GB DDR5 ram, Samsung odyssey 4k monitor plugged in via display port, no other peripherals connected except for Wi-Fi antaenna, usb keyboard, wireless dongles for Xbox controller and mouse, and headset connected via Bluetooth. Windows 11 and nvidia drivers fully up to date. Nvidia game ready drivers are installed via GeForce Experience application. I do not overclock. No antivirus installed. Just using Windows Defender antivirus. Bluetooth is always on. I play over Wi-Fi, not physical Ethernet. I have game mode turned off, with UI scaling in windows set to 100%, if that matters.
This is good advice, and are things that should always be checked first, try to rule out as much of your computer as possible first.
I've also heard people saying that if you are on a hard line/using an Ethernet cable, to disable or turn off your WiFi adapter if you have one. I don't know why it would work, but that's what I hear.
I also have read of a lot of people "solving" the issue by creating a new user account on their system and running the game from there. A way of ruling out, or proving, something being wrong or messed up with the user account.
Here's mine as well:
ASRock x570m Pro4 MATX Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (running stock)
dual 120mm fan/radiator AIO water coller
ASRock 6700XT Challenger edition card (OC from factory)
64GB (4x16GB sticks) DDR4 3600 (running at 3600mhx using XMP 2.0 setting)
OS installed on a 1TB NVMe drive, Games installed on a seperate one.
Z-Edge 29" 1440p 100mhz monitor (main) connected by Display Port
Asus 22" 1080p 60mhz monitor (as secondary) connected by HDMI
WiFi and Bluetooth, both on
No other peripherals plugged in other than a HyperX Origins Core 10 key-less keyboard, a Logitech 604 wireless gaming mouse, Logitech 533 Wireless 7.1 surround headset, and an Xbox one wireless controller.
All drivers up to date, Windows 11 Home up to date with newest updates. I also have Game Mode turned off.

It's just that for other games you have to mount the RTX 3060Ti. And for forza mount RX 5700 XT. It's simple... It's a joke, of course. It seems to me that the problem lies with the drivers from NVIDIA. Of course, I installed the old drivers that were given on the forum but the problem was the same. When it comes to repairs and scans of the system, I have already done all possible ways given here and on the Microsoft website, Forza. I have no idea what could be the problem. Thank you for your commitment and your answers.
