Start game
Ram goes to 100%
Then crashes due to memory and page file being overloaded.
I have tried all fixes, and nothing worked. These fixes include:
-Updating all drivers (CPU/GPU)
-Turning off all software with overlays
-Changing to an audio interface with lower sampling frequency
-Turning off Bluetooth
-Reducing my refresh rate
-Verifying the integrity of the game
-Using RamMap to clear standby list
-Turning off G Hub
I just want to play the game, how can this be an issue on a game like this?
Same setup and problem
Also, you say it's pretty much right from launching the game?
I'll have my task manager open when i launch mine and double check...
Update..just checked and recorded...I start at about 10-11% usage (I have like four YouTube videos ope, one playing, on my second monitor, as well as OBS) and letting the game run in the menu a bit, I logged into the game, played for a minute..and I never went above 18% usage, so an increase of 7-8%..then it just stayed there.
I don't know what would cause the game to act as a memory leak, but only for some people. :(
Only other thing I noticed, looking back at my video, is that the "in use (compressed) Ram # went up by maybe 6-7GB at the most, while the "committed" Ram when up by 10GB, and the cached ram went up by 2GB
Not sure if that helps, gonna try a few other ways to test or monitor the way Ram is used while launching the game...
I'll try a few different ideas out, and if I get any kind of positive or helpful results i'll post them here. :)
How can it be a problem with software/setup if I can run the demo on the Microsoft Store with no issues yet the Steam version won’t even launch??
Indicates to me it’s an issue solely with the Steam version!
Can you do me a favour and try running the demo found on the Microsoft App Store (not found in the Xbox App)
I can run the demo perfectly well but the steam version still crashes!
We need to band together as the devs need to fix the steam version as that’s where the problem is - nothing to do with hardware or anything else!
