Is Forza horizon 4 servers going to shutdown.

Recently fh and fh2 servers shutdown ed. Will FH4 shutdown anytime soon.

Nobody knows, maybe it will be 2024.
Or maybe they want to use new engine from this years Forza Motorsport and it will take even longer. Also remember they are working on new Fable game so i don't really expect it to be so soon.

Considering FH2 lasted almost a decade, and FH3 is not only alive, but even populated, I don't think the end is coming anytime soon. This, plus Playground clearly got memo that keeping game alive for long brings money: By old standards, FH4 should be delisted last year.
Now, if tinfoil theory that FH1 and FH2 MP was killed, so Playground can sell remastered versions for XBOX and Windows next year, I'll get angry. Then, I will reach for credit card, sigh.

Works on FH6 will probably go into serious mode only after Forza Motorsport 8 is released, because new FH will source its engine. While FM8 engine is obviuously ready to use, it yet has to go through baptism of fire - live servers, connection hickups and poorly maintained operation systems.

Doubt they will ever remaster 1 and 2 because car and music licence costs.

Probably when Forza Motorsport is released.. the servers for FH4 are ass anyways, constant issues.. I can't imagine they would keep them online for much longer

You can still buy it and there is no info about delisting so no, servers are not going offline any time soon.

On console yes, but not on PC. Multiplayer is off. Will update after doing a test though, just in case.

Nope, Online is still broken for PC in Horizon 3.

PC and Xbox have crossplay so it doesn't make sense that one is broken.

The last patch in 2021 shut off multiplayer, a few months prior to the release of Forza Horizon 5. Multiplayer isn't working on PC for Forza Horizon 3. Crossplay is off, Multiplayer is off. Heck, you can't even visit the parking garage anymore; not even to hang out.

Forza Horizon 3 may be alive on Consoles, but on PC it's dead. Only the single player content is working.

If you're wondering why PC players are still salty when it comes to Forza Horizon 3; it's because it was shutdown with no warning, no heads up, no nothing.

So you're just lying, i played FH3 sometime in 2022 and it was fine in multiplayer.
Sometimes even full lobby.
They never did shut off multiplayer, it just doesn't make sense to do that in 2021 when fh1 and 2 got shut down this year. I have no idea how many people play it this year but it's still working on both PC and Xbox.

Then how are you able to do it? I ask, because there are threads upon threads of complaints about multiplayer not working on PC. I certainly cannot connect to any multiplayer. My friend on Xbox and I on PC certainly cannot play together.

The only thing that I found online, is that private online supposedly works, but it's invite only for a friend. I haven't tested this.

I'd appreciate any info if you have any.

To give an update on Forza Horizon 3.

- Checked Toredo -> working just fine.
- Checked firewall -> No issues of anything blocking Forza Horizon 3.
- Checked multiple threads and video's -> nothing showing a fix and multiple threads complaining about not being about to connect to Forza Horizon 3 multipler. So no Online Adventure, No hanging out at the Garage, No private adventure, No online freeroam.

-> Auction House is still working as it has been.

If you do have the online parts of Forza Horizon 3 working, then I'm going to guess that you're lucky or that I'm simply unlucky. I have yet to see a single thread, post, video, nor anything showing that the Forza Horizon 3 Online elements are working on PC, only complaints about it being shutdown.

So while I won't say that what you say isn't true, I'd have to see it to actually believe it. Just the same, I won't bring it up anymore.

You just need enough people and it might take some time considering that game was delisted 3 years ago.

i just wanted to ask if anyone here is able to access the online features of FH4 as of 13 sept 2024. coz i cant join an online session or create private session or access the auction site.
