Personally, this isnt sim enough to bother with a wheel. Just my perspective.
I've switched my system from Windows to Garuda Linux (Arch Linux) (i think it works also for Steamdeck): i've installed "oversteer", an opensource driving wheel drivers manager. I've installed the game without applying any tweaks (works out-of-box). I've selected "Proton Experimental" in the Steam "Compatibility" options and the game works incredible with any type of driving wheel (full Force Feedback support). Side note: FPS are higher than Windows and i can play it extremely good with "High" graphics settings even if my Graphics Card is a low-middle end one.
