Nvidia has released a new 531.29 driver (game still freezing)

Today, 2023.3.14.

Fixed Bugs

Higher CPU usage from NVIDIA Container might be observed after exiting a game [4007208]
Stability issues may be observed on certain laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs [4008527]
Adobe application stability issues using 531.18 [4009055][4008751]

Would it fix the game? We'll see, but I doubt it.

They won't, or probably not soon. I've seen this type of workspace, they either don't have it on top of their priority list or they're lazy or just don't care at all. I noticed Forza Horizon 5 getting lots of updates recently, so my best guess is they're all mostly working on Forza Horizon 5 instead of 4, which explains why there's a massive gap of a couple to few months between Forza Horizon 4's updates. So to answer everyone's question whether or not they will fix it, I will say they will not certainly fix it soon enough until they receive a mass amount of reports about it or maybe one of their programmers was just bored in their home or office and decided to fix this bug, but that is not likely going to happen considering the fact that they still haven't fixed this issue for more than a few months. Unless of course maybe it's NVIDIA's issue to fix.

You may already know this...but like most of you with NVIDIA cards I have been crashing every 10 minutes for several months in FH4.... but I did recently discover that driving "Horizon Solo" does seem to fix that. So the problem lies in the online "Festival"... which of course is a lot of fun but at least now I can drive in "solo" mode for hours and not minutes again.

I am becoming convinced that between the game devs and NVIDIA and MS and... there simply will never be a fix for this... so solo mode it is for me.
