Forza 4 servers down permanently

Is this true. I bought the game on steam for a discount and it only connected to the server until i progressed in the career mode to level 2 and then the server stopped working and has never worked again, so basically the game is worthless now. I know Microsoft enjoys raking in the money on digital products and then stop giving support for the games or software, basically middle finger to you. If Bill Gates owned steam, he would probably start a newer version of steam, then delete all your old games and tell you to buy them all over again on steam version 2.

The game is working fine. This sounds like a you problem.

the problem is that the developers made an DLC and called it forza horizon 5, so now almost every player who was plaing fh4 is now playing in dlc called fh5

What you might have is a common bug where your login data misverifies. You can solve this by logging out and then logging back in at the main menu.
Go to the main menu and sign out, then when prompted sign back in. Then try again.

Thanks Tiretracker. With inflation, cost of living, food, fuel, housing, utilities, vehicles and rent all skyrocketing out of control. You just want to sit down and spend your last few bucks on a game and get away from it all, then it doesn't work, it's frustrating.

I nearly had a heart attack seeing this thread pop up, but reading it, I had a similar issue where the servers just didn't seem to want to connect until I forced a re-login on my Xbox user-id.

i have same problem. i cant play online. if i choice connect to Horizon 4 live. after 3 secound it show me horizon server are not available, try again later. also i can only play offline. some weekly challenge is for Teamplay. If i start it, it show searching for server and after some secound is the message way.
With Forza Horizon 5 i have not this problem.

With Forza Horizon 5 i have not this problem.
