How do i unlock Barn finds? (solved-ish)

Update :

Today i was playing waiting for "summer" so i could do that Beamoth, and i did a sprint run in an old unmodded Firebird from 79, and after that sprint, i got my first barn rumour (my radio was still turned off), and ironically enough, while searching for that, i got another one, this time a seasonal one, so i was in a hurry, as it was only 45 mins until season change, i got both.

If I recall correctly, you have to hear a radio talk about "new barn" (I played with radio early on), then Alex (Dirt/Rally guy) will call you, highlighting an area, and only then you can go and search for barns.
I'm not sure they go in particular order, but they are tied to certain season - you can't get Land Rover if it's not winter, for example (it is in the middle of the lake).

From what I've gathered and my own experience (and a friend's experience), you need to do the Behemoth Showcase. Its the one located at Glen Rannoch at the top of the mountain. No one seems to mention that the Behemoth Showcase is what triggers it, so if you could reply and let me know if it triggers after doing that (it 100% should), it would be great so people know that the Behemoth is required to trigger barn finds.

The problem is that i cant beat it, i tried like 7 times and i keep loosing (i even tried to put it on easy)

Only 4 of the cars are tied to seasons. The rest are given over time with the exception of one barn find where you need to buy the Bamburgh Castle to unlock its location. There is also an additional barn find in Lego World.

You could try having it done in online mode with co-op (or invite a friend) and have someone carry you. In coop it becomes a team race so whoever is in first will get the most points, in this case just enough to beat the AI therefore the entire team wins and you get gold. Outside of that, you're just gonna have to just keep trying until you get it unfortunately.

The Showcase is currently a Seasonal Remix meaning the default car that is used, is swapped out for something else (Chevy Colorado ZR2 in this case), so maybe when a new season begins tomorrow, you could try again? The default truck you use for the race is the Toyota Baja. That might help, it might not.

Nice! I did some extra googling. Only a few posts say you have to "win" the showcase. Most posts say you have to "complete" it, so technically I guess you don't have to win it, just do it and finish it. Luckily I was vague and only said you had to play it. After that you needed to do some extra races here and there and play for "a while" and they'll eventually unlock. So I guess you playing the showcase multiple times and doing some other stuff was all that was needed. Either way its done now congrats.
