There is no Formula One-type car in FH4 per se. You may get better results if you ask which is the fastest car for each race type, e.g. road race, cross-country, dirt etc.

my b i was referring to the style cars that are more like from the motorsport verison

By meta the fastest cars are things like a bug-tuned Mosler or Ferarri 599XX Evo topping out at 300mph but those are impractical speeds to race with outside of a straight line.

Are you playing offline? The drivatar AI accommodate your car's estimated top speed so getting a faster car will just make them faster as well.

Don't drivatars also completely disobey the laws of in-game physics as well? I've seen many people talk about the insane handling capabilities that the AI have amongst other things.

When tuned beyond being driveable the 599XX EVO (not the standard 599XX) can top 500k but it's so wildly impractical it't not really much fun. The Supra, on the other hand is loads of fun. Not the fastest around a track due to having 90s aerodynamics but you can tune the standard engine to about 1.3MW (about 1600 bhp). Tuning it is tricky, you need to keep the power going into the road, rather than spinning the wheels but also not kill the handling with understeer.

Properly tuned it will top 430k and do a nice four wheel burnout.
