And you don't have to win every race in those, just the competition. So you can e.g. ram the leader :P Also use rewinds and restart races if you got a poor result :)
As Michiel mentioned. A Ariel Nomad tuned for acceleration gets the job done, with mercilessly ramming whoever takes the lead or looks funny at you. I had some success with the Polaris too, but the Beetles and the Alumicraft were a pain to take a lead.
For for Extreme Off-Ofroad I roll a Jeep Trailcat and Lamborghini Urus Concept for the Utility Heroes ones... The Hummers were a bit disappointing for me.
I preffer much more Dirty Trails with my Lancia Strattos..
I initially just loaded up on the highest S1 or S2 tune I could find, but the series forced a Class A 800 limit. So I had to find the one among many A-class tunes which featured the best acceleration.
I observed that in the first two races, I tried my hardest but could not beat or even reach the first-place winner. I resigned myself to thinking that I would just earn second in the championship, and keep the credits and skill. But in the third race, the previous winner ended up far behind, enough so that I was able to finish first in only the final race AND still win the overall series.
