HELP I CAN PLAY ONLINE BUT I CANT JOIN FRIENDS

Hello, fellow steam users, im having a big problem. I cant join convoy with my friends and they dont appear in my invite friends option "in game" even though theyre already my friends in XBOX CONSOLE COMPANION. GameBar doesnt work either when they invite me nothing happens. XBOX App doesnt work either my FORZA HORIZON 4 ULTIMATE EDITION I BOUGHT, also didnt appear it should appear in there right?
Also when i link all the accounts related to my steam account i have to relink it again or should i say it unlinks itself as far as i know i made sure its the same account that i use on my steam account.
WHAT SHOULD I DO? Ive done what i can i reinstalled it, reformatted may laptop.
and still i cant join in their convoy.
and another problem is that when i use XBOX Console Companion when i try to join my friend it says "Youll need a new app to open this xbl-multiplayer etc etc."

HELP THIS POOR SOUL PLEASE!

how far have you played fh4?
what router are you using? i had the same problem with my former Fritz-Box

Been playing for 2 weeks now ever since i bought it. Now im forever alone and playing with some guys i dont know. </3

Hmmm a standard fibr router 25mbps

If your Xbox Gamebar still isn't working properly force close it from the Task Manager.

To make sure there's no other issues, have you and your friends go into the Convoy menu and change your privacy settings to where your friends can join you. From there you or your friends should be able to join one another through the Xbox Gamebar without invites.

ill try this fix, but my convoy menu is my friends can invite me. maybe i should try that one, and force close it.

Have you updated manually your xbox apps in microsoft store? Click the dropdown menu and click update if not.

Good Day sir, i just tried updating, yes its already updated, i tried to join my friend, Forza Horizon 4 Opened but no Joining to my friends session. it can open the app but nothing happens when i try to join.

It's worth a check. Open up the Xbox app and in the top right, click your profile icon. Head to settings and then manage privacy settings. From there make sure everything is checked that needs to be checked under both Privacy and Online Saftey.
