Is my ancient intel i5 6600k up to the job?
I know they recommend i7-3820, and I know my cpu is better according this comparison: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-6600K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-3820/3503vsm739

But since they usually underestimate the recommended CPU (to sell the game more), do you guys think I can race with like 10 cpu opponents without getting huge fps drops? I had that problem with Assetto Corsa, as my cpu would get 99% usage.

GTX 1070, 16GB ram, SSD.

On i7 6700 and GTX 1060 the demo from MS Store ran very fine. Hopefully they won't break too much while adjusting to Steam, he he.

i3 8100 + 1060 = 80 fps on ultra, no lags, forza have good optimization

The 6600k is still a budget beast. Your specs are much more than enough to run this game maxed out and get more than 60fps if you keep it at 1080p. My other older computer has that same exact specs.

This game is very well optimized and will run in pretty much anything.

Thanks everyone. :lunar2019coolpig:

The game ran ok-ish (around 50-60fps on low settings at 1080p) on an i5-8350u and an nvidia mx150 (GT-1030 would be the closest desktop comparison) gpu.

should be fine, the 2500, 3570 and 4690 are essentially all just evolutions of each other ... the game is very very well optimized with a TON of options to suit all tastes.
i had 1060, i3 4130, 8gb and ran well, ( but to get rid of stutters on modern titles never run on single channel ( try 8+8 gb ram ) i had stutters mild, also there is a demo on windows store give it a try! :thumbalift:

Just to help, yes it runs on this CPU. I'm using a i5 2500 with a 1050 ti to run this game from the Microsoft store

I know its a bit late but i actually had an I5 6600K up until about 2 months ago, the game ran fine using the I5 6600K :)

Good to know! I figured it would be fine. My GPU is a GTX 960 4 GB, which is pretty comparable to a 1050 Ti. I'm hoping to still get 1080p and 60 fps after fiddling with some settings a bit.
