Is there an audio fix?
I've searched online through so many sites trying to get an audio fix as I can barely hear in game audio other than the voices and the music. The cars are so quiet along with all other racing sfx. I've tried adjusting sliders, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, changed my audio settings and I'm at my wits end. I want to ENJOY this game but I can't because I can't hear cars. Anyone else happen to find a working fix? I'm stumped as everything on my PC is up to date and I have NO other audio issues with my games using headphones or speakers. TYIA

It sounds like a communication device might be quietening the application audio due to picking up some kind of microphone signal - could you please try disabling microphone in the game's audio options and see if it makes any difference? If not, it may be a worth right clicking the speaker icon in your Windows system tray (normally the right hand side of the taskbar) and clicking 'volume mixer' to see if FH4 is set to be quieter than other applications.

If none of this works there may be other fixes depending on your system configuration, but likely none that would be fixed by changing game settings.

Are you using bluetooth headphones? Are you running windows 11?

I've had dropouts recently using bluetooth as well, but in Windows 10. It's really aggravating, TBH.

And of course, the fix was to plug in a $10 set of speakers with a subwoofer. Go figure,

So much for my bluetooth for the time being, it looks like!
