STEAM
- Slightly different SST UI.
- Xbox Series X/S controller dedicated share button is not recognized by Steam.
- The Xbox Console Companion app does not work for accepting invites to Steam. Players should use the Xbox app or the Xbox Game Bar instead.
- Force feedback is not working with Xbox One controllers.
WHEEL
- Fanatec Clubsport V2 - Wheel FFB is not initialized when wheel is in GIP mode. *workaround is to not run the wheel in Xbox mode while on PC*
- Launching the title with a pad and then turning on the wheel, results in pad settings being applied. *Please, launch the game with the wheel only*
- Mad Catz Pro - Force feedback and vibration are lost after after Alt+Tabbing or minimizing.
- Logitech G29 - Steering wheel model is not recognized in game by default and players must map a custom control scheme

Also not working / reconised on a Thrustmaster T500 witth Fanatec elte v1 pedalset and TH8RS shifter in the Demo it worked perfect !!! (except clutch but it could be a clutchless car I tested)
I go try the tip I read to use the config files from the demo that it created
If that doenst work to my satisfying, I do a refund for the first time in my life !!
Backup the mentioned files first to be sure before editing them
Guide:
1.Setup your settings in the demo
2. Find your demo settings file. ( Should be .../User/Appdata/Local/Packages/Microsoft.Forzahorizon4demoblabla/SystemAppdata/wgs/'number combination'/'another number combo'/
- finding the 2nd folder with the combination can be tricky. Tip: Sort by Date. As you just changed the settings it should be the newest folder.
- there should be a file called container.5 and another file. Open that file with notepad.
3. Copy your wheel settings or just everything
4. Find your full game settings file ( Should be .../User/Appdata/Local/Packages/SunriseBaseGame/SystemAppdata/wgs/'number combination'/'another number combo'/
- same as above. To find the right folder change your control settings and sort by date.
- there should be a file called container.5 and another file. Open that file with notepad.
5. Overwrite everything.
6. Done. Your wheel settings in the full game should be the same now.
Sorry have missed your question
It should be used on the Steam version,
It actually should be %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs
I don't own the steam version, but they should be the same UWP with codebase to this appdata location .
Just refunded the game and bought it from Microsoft Store, works perfectly fine
My g29 isnt recognised by forza 4
