#1 C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\ForzaHorizon4 Delete this folder.
#2 SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ForzaHorizon4 Delete all files , not folders. (300~400 MB)
#3 Verify and download new files.
#4 Scan SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ForzaHorizon4 folder with your anti-virus app.
#5 Restart pc and try.

Hi, when you say delete all the files in step 2, you also have to delete those in the subfolders: cef, media, DLC?

Delete all files , not folders in THE MAIN Directory he means, not inside every folder.

So delete ALL the files in the MAIN Forza 4 Directory and not the folders or the files inside the folders you are NOT deleting. Then Verify Cache and it will download the FILES you deleted which cannot be more then 500mb I presume ?

so, before getting this, i had 16gb ram... today whilst noseying about trying yet another fix... i discovered im now down to 8gb... now I cant say for sure why this is, but one of my sticks is outright dead now, for now im blaming forza 4 because im pissed off with this entire launch... now to hope the people who ordered the ram for me actually got it under warranty...

Try my solution! It works for me!

For Comodo firewall users, you don't need to turn off the firewall.
Go to Settings>>Advanced Protection>>Miscellaneous>>Check the checkbox "Don't detect shellcode injections in these applications" and click the link "these applications" and then add the game's folder.

There may have an option "injections detection" or something like this in the advanced setting for other antiviruses. Try to find this option and disable it or make an exclusion under its setting.
