Question Regarding Postgame (SPOILERS!)

is there any way i can totally reinstall the game fresh? i really want to stream it for my friends, and, y'know, ive already finished it.

you can for sure uninstall and reinstall to start again, if you truly have the heart to reset them and break their hearts again....

btw, i streamed this blind for the first time and came away with my mind blown lol

when you have startup window, press button "save data" or smth, it will redirect you to save folder. ctrl + A, Delete, start game and enjoy being horrible person.

I'd like to believe that they both deserve to see their happy endings achieved. It hurts seeing one of them being rejected. I can always meet Aoi somewhere else and make her happy again, but Mayumi is stuck forever alone...

Is this the case? I thought since Aoi broke the "curse" in the final reset, Miyuki would be able to find happiness even if she didn't end up with Shinichi? Also Aoi and us supposedly gave them a push (if you chose Aoi's true end).

I'll admit, I didn't understand that little bit. Is that's what's happening? I still would like to see Mayumi's end. I don't like being guilted into seeing only one end of the game.

here I was thinking that without Aoi's interference (that will lead to route #2) MC and Miyuki will never end up together. that if you didn't choose to stop Aoi.

I'm confused by that as well. So is the world broken from the start? Normally there's a good end and bad end but it seems only the bad end exists until Aoi interfered and converted the world into good end only (but cursed Miyuki in the process).


Edit: I spoiled myself with miyuki true end on youtube. The world really is broken from the start because the MC's insecurity problems are sky high. What pushed them together was the picture from Aoi route that we send. Without that picture, Shinichi will never get anywhere.


It also appears that no one loses in aoi route technically speaking because miyuki still gets shinichi while aoi "gets" us.

it's not "broken" from the start. that's really how the start is. MC's insecurity problems are very high out there. and it's not helped by how "perfect" Miyuki is.

Keep in mind, from the start you were only able to go on Miyuki's route. Aoi patched the game the first time because Shinichi started to pursue Aoi's friendship and affection. All she wanted to do after figuring out how Miyuki felt was get them together at the risk of her fading away without CGs. From then on, every path you chose led to Miyuki, but you keep trying to go on Aoi's route. Miyuki isn't happy that you professed your love to her in the first arc but can't keep that same energy through the rest of the game.

Regardless of Shinichi's shortcomings, Aoi should have been the first route if it wasn't for Miyuki, but Miyuki messed with events she didn't know the full force of and went crazy.

And despite all of this, Aoi still wanted Miyuki to be happy. When you reset the game for good, and you choose Aoi, Shinichi ends up with Miyuki, and the player ends up with Aoi.

Miyuki's ending is what you'd expect (Miyuki and Shinichi, Aoi not there) but she's there in the picture and if you call her at the roof, rooting for you two.

Well if the ending isn't that different, I might restart it just to get the experience again. I think this is a good VN that teaches the importance of knowing the difference between reality and fiction. And as beautiful and amazing as Aoi is, we must remember she is a character.

That's right.. Did anyone try to stop Aoi when she started patching the universe? It's obviously possible, but I didn't stop her

nope, the end of that choice ends with you eating dinner by yourself watching a show miyuki is acting in (the same scene miyuki shows you where you eat dinner with aoi and eru to show you she ends up unhappy). she's doing her own thing, and aoi disappears. the scene ends without credits, and sends you back to the menu.

Didn't Aoi patch the world because Shinichi was about to lose? Basically, Aoi brute forced the game so that Shinichi would never lose. On the first route, Shinichi was solely focused on Miyuki but was to insecure to do anything about it.
