(Plus the whole supernatural element from a story standpoint too :P)
You have me even more interested by mentioning PE. Would this be Parasite Eve 1 gameplay or 2? They are fairly different. PE1's was dependent on being one of the only true horror rpg games, while PE2 was much more inline with traditional survival horror of the day which was Resident Evil.
If you simply mean as another person put it a gated "arena" areas for fights, that's fine, but as a longtime PE fan i'm still wishing to see anyone actually attempt what the first PE game accomplished back in the day.
I really wish the demo had been allowed to stay up. Missed the window for it by hours.
I just bought it after reading you commentary saying that you used parasite eve as reference, when I saw the video on the steam page, at the same time I remembered parasite eve.
Hey there! -- Is there a weapon upgrade system similar to Parasite Eve? Obviously you have to have been fans of the other franchises to make a game like this, so I'm curious how many RPG like mechanics slithered in here. I'm very interested in the title and I think a lot of others are on the edge.
Edit: I bit the hook during a good sale because it looks enjoyable either way.
It's not as robust and combat isn't the main focus however.
- Control : she talks a lot when you interact with an object and because she has power
- Life is Strange: because you listen to music
- RE: because you have an inventory at home but also mix components
Unlike RE you can throw objects and gather them again
I don't like the fact I can't just pull out the pistol when I feel like it. Think it's a design flaw. Maybe it only bothers Americans.
