It seems like you wanted to add and play with your friends but you are having trouble adding them. To add them in your friend list, please follow the steps below:

In the Message Box section, you will find a group of icons in the upper corner of your screen. Click on the icon resembling a person with a plus sign—this is the 'Friend' section. Next, select the 'Search Friend' tab and enter your friend's in-game name.

this has still not been fixed, and i dont think that this is what hew is talking about, im having the same issue. when my friends on ps4 try to add me (steam), it says for them that my account does not exist. We have also tried getting into the same game, which worked once, i tried added them in that game, But when i got to the lobby, the friend request was gone. Please fix this bruh
