Since you can add friends from different platforms, why is there no account data transfer?

We understand your concern. However, just like most games in the different platforms, all games and in-game contents and purchases are attached to the platform they are activated on, so account data can't be transferred.

if epic did it with fortnite why cant you?? everything i bought on ps4 i can use and see on pc so i dont think its that hard
