no where to go in the beginning

dad told me to take care of sister then he said to meet him at woodpile in morning so i go to bed and wait up as Becky everyone is dead nowhere to go door all locked if i talk to man he sends me to windmill i finally get out but no where to go doors all locked... what am i missing i have watched every video and don't see this in any of them...what do i do so confused...

escape the farm. Run down

Thank you for helping but I have run down went up and down and sides of screen and can't go anywhere after i leave the windmill... i don't know.... i know it's probably something so simple i'm missing
I have ran past him on both sides to the bottom holding shift key to run and still can't exit the bottom... i have tired to running around the side of garden so he doesn't see me then to bottom and still can't exit... i have restarted the game twice and same thing...i have restarted my computer and no change... i have talked to him and both dead kids and he sends me back to windmill so i do all the above stuff over and over...my head eyes are killing me

After talking to the dad, You need to run down the farm. Keep going down past the lamp light. You need to be at the edge of the map to transition. There's a path that leads down and out of the farm

How do I outrun the dad? He always stays between me and the exit and can run as fast as I can. How do I get past him?

I got stuck at the same point for a long time as well. What I did not understand was that after talking to the guy that poisons you, it's not a cut scene and you can run from him after your character says "I should run".

I was standing there for the longest time getting poisoned and ending up at the windmill again lol

worse yet, the thingy to access things like guides isn't available. i couldn't even get out of the game itself.
i ended up having the ctr+alt+del my way out because the stupid thing locked me into a loop of being a victim of my psychotic dad!

Once you back up, go to the side (be careful not to get stuck on the bodies) and loop him around a tree or the windmill. You're a little faster than he is, so as long as you keep running him in circles, you can make your way past him then straight all the way down to the edge of the farm.

If you are using controller X is to sprint. Once I figured that out it was easy to get away. I am assuming there is a key to sprint on keyboard as well.

I hate these scenes with Becky and her killer-dad. In these scene he caught me everytime.
There really should be a sign, pointers or something else, where I have to run! Only once I run from him... but I run to the house, and he caught me. And I stucked there, in this awkward, boring and lagging scene!
I would rather to skip this scene, I can't to save my position and I am stucked there.

Is there some possibility to add 1) the mark points, where to run and 2) a button for SKIP the scenes with Becky and her family? Especially for the players they played it before (in the demo, playing it again and again and are stucked and so on), please? I am not an OCD, for me it is very boring and just not funny to do the same things again and again...!!!
