Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire

Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire

Anyone played this on PS1?
I have some strange memories of this game.

It had a Split Screen PvP, which is unheard of in the genre. I remember playing it with my friends and we would always end up spamming grenade dudes because they seemed too OP for the cost.

I also remember that controls were fully limited to buttons, no hovering and selecting. Units could only be split by 50% groups ratio.

Like you literally could not micro individual units on PlayStation, if I recall correctly you pressed a trigger and selected an automatic group which had all units, and then you could split it up into another fixed group and you would have to select with triggers anytime you wanted to move.

I still loved the game but damn, it was a different time.

Yeah, not being able to control individual units was a pain, but the game was still fun. Great music and the intro movie was watched almost every time by me.

Yeah, i did grinded this Gem once i uncovered it back when it released for PSX all the way through multiple times on the hardest difficulty and y<eah, you had to split groups into scout units and grenadiers and all that and yeah that was fun that, unlike C&C, it had a local slpitscreen multiplayer
Dude, I can barely beat some of this late game missions and only because I can cheese with aircraft, back in the days some of these were borderline impossible.

Unless you just playing survivors and spamming those hover tanks, what a broken Unit. Imagine if siege tanks in Starcraft were always in siege mode and moved around hahaha

I remember playing on the ps1 very well it was great. me and my dad used to play map 06? all the time (two player spawns one up top one on the bottom with a big island in the centre) we'd build up massive armies (as much as the game would allow) and duke it out in the centre then we'd build up and do it again even when the "infinite" oil would dry up we'd leave the ps1 running while waiting for enough R.U's to go at each other again. he passed away last year but I still load up the ps1 time to time and input the code for his favourite mission "charlie don't surf" set up his base how he would back in the day and let it run for a few hours don't know why he'd sit their and watch the a.i slam into his brick wall defence for hours but I know he loved it I guess it's my way of letting my old man play his favourite game like he used to
