Suggestion list
YES, I KNOW THE GAME IS IN EARLY ACCESS..........and likely many of these features may already well be on the way.

But here are a few:

1.) MOD SUPPORT / STEAM WORKSHOP - a vocal and active community + Steam Workshop practically sell games and keep them going for a LONG time.

2.) Copy/Paste/Rotate/Mirror - Allowing people to select, copy and paste sections makes making huge sections of city easy and without the need to repeat clicking. Rotating is also important to let them create some more additions to cities, and replicate things like forts easily.

3.) Skin support - Instead of brickwork, how about wood, or metal, or concrete, maybe even ceramic, wattle and daub, bamboo, the lists of building materials can be nearly endless. Imagine an Asian or Jungle-style island of buildings made out of not steel scaffolding, but bamboo, and bridges made out of rope instead of brickwork.

4.) Map size and variety - I know everyone wants bigger maps :) But not just bigger, but giving variety to the style. Right now the variable quadrangle style looks great, very organic looking....but some folks LOVE the more simcity style of strict 90degree blocks and angles for a very orderly look....or even the option of a hybrid system of map where you can designate certain areas as strictly grid perfect angles to slowly emerge into a more organic style, then go back again.

5.) Airship viewpoint: Yup, we all want a view of the city from the streets, but how about from an airship flying through the city, not like how you do with the camera and WASD method, but a slowly more scenic way of viewing the city.

6.) Night + Sunsets - Right now, we see the city from a bright sunny day. But imagine what it would look like at night, or during the beautiful twilight of sunset or sunrise? Ya I know that would put in more complicated lighting into the game, but that is all a part of creating a beautiful cityscape

7.) Land - Designated parks - Yup we like the greenery but it would be nice to isolate ceratin areas as open parks with open gates to other cities without the need to block them off completely.

8.) Paintbrush - Able to create larger sections with ease of a simple paintbrush tool, square or circle saves on clicking.

Just a few suggestions :D

Plz feel free to add more.

I think all those suggestions are great and decided to write down some of my own.
9.) People and animal life would be a neat addition.
10.) Roads would be neat
11.) A fill option or a selection to raise a large area of land.
12.) If a land mode is added the addition of rivers, valleys, hills, cliffs, and waterfalls would be nice
13.) bridges directly on water that is not a series of arches or buildings would be neat
14.) Beaches that can be expanded beyond just being 1/2 of a tile
15.) the Ability to lock the grid to only 90* angles/circular map
16.) more colors would be nice but isn't necessary (Mainly a "black" most likely a darker gray for texture reasons)
17.) Overhanging signs (especially if there is roads)
18.) If there is an addition to add style types the ability to select regions to specific styles could be great. Having a the current theme flow into a modern area.
19.) Weather
20.) Overhanging signs that hang off into possible streets or walkways maybe the ability to change the sign to give the place character, advertising stores and shops

(UI Rant)
I know the developer has talked about keeping the UI simple as well as the creation so I would suggest upon adding changes to the map generation have it be selected when generating a new map. In a menu that pops up in the middle of the screen with options such as circular, square, organic/random with images to show what it will look like. This could be done most elegantly with pictures of pre-built towns on those settings.

For tools such as time separate panels that can be collapsed to improve visibility and the simple aesthetic. windows that appear only after hovering over them would allow for a more compact solution without creating a new panel for tools. Although the second one would only be viable if there is hotkeys that would make it a more fluid experience for experienced users who would have memorized the hotkeys for each setting, but would still allow for a fluid control system for people just picking it up.

Would love to hear some more peoples Ideas and seeing any of these additions made into the game/world builder. :D

I think the 15.) the Ability to lock the grid to only 90* angles/circular map is certainly a good idea.

Especially the ability to merge both, like having a map option that lets you choose to have both 90 degree chunks and organic chunks both into the map, and you can set how big they are by a scale.

Community texture packs - Like in Minecraft PC. So we can make our own textures to suit our needs.

I'd love to have infinite size map, but optimized to show current screen.
also a co op mode would be fun. It's like building bricks with your friend.
color picker i.e from middle click.

I'd say a paintrbrush a straight grid and a resource/skin/model pack/modability would be super cool. I'd try to make a medieval castle style mod for this game for sure

Raised land in half-steps that creates slopes instead of steps. I really wanna create towns that look like seaside villages in Cornwall/Devon/the Channel Islands but a big part of that is having steep, sloped streets (and not having the only way to raise land be having half the city built on one giant under-building...). Also just much more green area in general, not just gardens.

id like different types of building so that there arent windows on every block so it makes the city feel more alive and for a wall option so windows dont appear in large walls

I feel the city's can be a bit lifeless in its current state. I think the option to spawn little people to walk around or maybe add railroads or airships (to keep with the aesthetics) that travel along a route would do much to fix this.

some suggestions:
1. worlds with (squares, triangles, hexagons, etc)
2. land maps (hills, desert, mountains, river, etc)
3. toggle windows/doors building
4. styles (gothic, ancient, future, etc)
5. advanced colour choice
6. day/night toggle
7. walk mode
