I really hope the AI Art in these screen captures posted in the recent update / announcement is not what we should expect.
AI is a tool and is use in a lot newer programs the whole image isn't fully AI generated.
Also we rarely come here to view post and such, mainly due to the fact WE WORKING ON THE GAME!!
I honestly don't know what to say to this response...
Good luck I guess,
Yea and it's an early access game something was bound to change at some point........
Many players have supported you all from the beginning and did not ever expect AI stories. I mean, selling the keys in bundles with other fully completed games years back didn't seem to be an issue for you guys- seems strange... It's early access when it is beneficial for you- but not when it comes to bundles or sales right?
Take a look at a game called Interstellar Marines on Steam if you want a fascinating case-study of how not to promote your EA Title. It follows a similar path as this.
There seems to be little playtesting in-house and relying on players reporting bugs when NOBODY is playing your game online is telling. THat should have been an absolute necessity. Because casuals and hardcore players alike expect a 1.0 release to be a final build. If the game was doing well and people liked the current state of things- there would be players playing online. And there would be more "free testing" from your community. This is not how you conduct that. It's that simple.
You have bigger problems than people being upset about AI images. You seem to have plenty of time to respond to issues and critiques / reviews... Even a cursory glance from anyone on the reviews page can see what I am talking about.
This seems like a total mess and the amount of "positive reviews" With a single sentence and less than 10 hours of playtime is also strange. I wonder if it is because there is less than ten hours of total content- Or, that those reviews are possibly not legit. Who knows right?
No responses from devs for a ton of those reviews that are positive- but almost every negative review has some response from a dev team member... Make it make sense.
I am disappointed with how this has been going and this all seems like a complete breakdown in good-faith. I completely understand the limited resources and small team- It's one of the reasons I supported the game initially. But this isn't what should be occurring. At all. I wish you all the best, but honestly- this game will garner the praise or ridicule it honestly deserves. Nothing you can type or dismiss will change that.
My review has been updated. I suggest not responding to it. It only lets potential buyers know that devs responding to critique seem more important than making the game the best it can be.
Hi there,
Your last message sounds a bit all over the place to me, I'll try to adress your concerns as briefly as I can:
We're a tiny team and have been overwhelmed most of the time during the past4 years at least. Trying to produce and improve everything at the same time is a tedious job. We're aware we won't meet everyone's expectation and we've stayed in Eearly Access as long as it was necessary not to "fool" anybody and collect user's feedback to guide us while maintaining a VERY reasonable price.
We hope for some understanding from the users but we also understand that it's not their job to care how a product is made.
With that said some of your claim are unfounded: if we had the means to hire people to write false comment we'd rather hire more testers. When people are happy with the game there's not much to add but we make sure to adress people who have some concern or valid critics as it helps us improve the game as I mentioned before, I don't see anything odd with that.
I'm very sorry to hear that you feel we're disapointing you, We'll continue to give our best we can, for the sake of the game and the future of the company. Feel free to follow us or just move on with other games if you feel such discomfort with our direction. That's all we can do for the moment.
Have a nice day.

My points in my previous post were not all over the place. They were absolutely surgical- and I believe that the devs know this. There are other reviews- I urge anyone reading this to look at them.
I hope 1.0 is as great as everyone hopes and believes it'll be. I truly would love to see this game improve and succeed. But the last few years of development are not eliciting confidence. AI Art is only the tip of the iceberg.
Theirs a decent amount of people that are enthusiast like myself for Indie Fighting Games that will now pass over this game because of the AI use. I do not understand tanking the games reputation on something like this that is extremely unpopular and rightfully derided. Theirs no upside to using it and it tends to stick out and look awful and worse yet, have no hear to it. Even if the quality may not have been what would be ideal, the elements that are touched with AI would have been better crafted by hand.
Sad to say I'll pass on the game for now till this changes.
there's criticisms on both sides to be made but we must keep things civil in these forums, thank you.
