Like Scarlet (second character the red head) is pretty worthless by her self. IE If a captain can not solo then i do not use them.
Then show me your solo challenge achievement? Having a mode an a challenge dose not warrent they "can solo" it.
Currently (EA Build 911) all regular, solo and loyalty challenges are completable.
The only one I really struggled with was Corrosia. It took 5 attempts. 4 of them annoyingly ended on wave 118 or 119 before I finally managed to complete it on the 5th attempt.
Shortly after that, playing another character, I accidently knocked the right analogue stick on the controller and remembered you can manually aim the weapons. DOH! It would have made that solo challenge so much easier if I had of remembered while playing it.
All captains can solo, I've done them all. Vermillion is one of the easy solo challenge clearing captains for sure. Ravebow on the other hand is difficult.
Doesn't remove the weapon. And good thing too, cause I use 360 nova and ban Rosanova because you can get the primary benefit of the weapon and then use another captains better passives.
As for who "can solo" content, Ravebow's loyalty challenge is possible even with ONLY RAVEBOW, despite her having one of the bottom two weapons in the game. So in the current state of the game, everything is "good enough" for at least the basic objectives. Going deep into Endless is a different story, but honestly Endless is so busted balance-wise (it's not especially hard to go for hours and end up just quitting before you're actually at risk of dying) that it probably isn't a serious concern at this time.
