Can't launch the game anymore

After a power outage, when launching the game it told be there was a differences between two saves of the game, so I opt for the most recent one. Now I can't play anymore, whenever I launch the game it fails with this error : "File version is incorrect! Please rename it! state.dat" I tried uninstalling the game then reinstalling, the it didn't fixed it.

Hi! It seems like your data got corrupted due to the outage. Here's how you can reset it:

- right-click the Elasto Mania entry in Steam and click Properties
- go to the Updates tab
- untick "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Elasto Mania"
- go to the Local Files tab
- click Browse Local Files
- in the opened window go to the "player" folder
- delete the state.dat file
- without changing anything else, start the game
- at this point, the game should be working
- create a new player, then exit the game
- go back to the Properties window, Updates tab and re-enable "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization"
- if Steam asks you what save data to use, choose the newly created one

Thanks aaaaaaaaaaalot. If anyone else have this issue, the comment above fixed it, keep in mind it erases all saves. However i'd rather that than now being able to play at all.

Edit : My records are still there on my steam account, just not on the newly created character. So its fine.
