Does Audiosurf hate Windows 11? Or is this a larger issue?
About a year ago I upgraded computers. At the start of my time at college (2020), I had just gotten a Dell XPS 13 laptop, and AudioSurf ran PERFECTLY on there. I could continuously play for hours on end with zero issues. Then, in my final semester, the laptop shat the bed and died, so I had to get a new one. I upgraded to the MSI Cyborg 15 A13V. Now, however, whenever I play AudioSurf, I can only play 3-5 songs in a session before the game (and especially the menus) begin to visually glitch. It glitches rapidly enough to be a health hazard, though luckily I am not epileptic.

There's a major distinction I'd like to make between the two laptops: the XPS 13 ran Windows 10 (and I refused to upgrade), and the Cyborg 15 A13V runs Windows 11 (and I forgot to downgrade). Additionally, the XPS 13's graphics were "integrated" and really low-power. Meanwhile the MSI laptop has an NVIDIA chip. Theoretically, the MSI laptop should be able to run Audiosurf MUCH better than the former. And yet, the game glitches and crashes regularly, to the point where I can count how many songs I have left before I need to shut down and restart the game!
(Also as a side tangent, every time I try to switch change graphics settings in the game or switch which card it's using, Audiosurf IMMEDIATELY crashes)

Is this an issue only with Windows 11? Or is this a more universal issue among players? I'd love to be able to just sit down and play for hours like I used to only a year or two ago...

Could be an issue of the recent downfall of NVIDIA driver quality, maybe try an older driver version, I never had an issue with the game on Win11 (though I do use AMD graphics)

As far as I can tell, my version of audiosurf doesn't even use my nvidia card. By default it's locked to "Intel UHD Graphics", and any attempt to switch it to the nvidia card (along with any attempt to change resolution settings, etc) causes the game immediately crash.
