The claim is that s rank creatures do not drop cards.
I have personally observed s rank creatures dropping cards. As have many others.
Card drops can be very rare but s rank absolutely does drop cards.
Edit:
To prove my point, I just spent the last 3 hours in game farming exclusively S-rank creatures. Took awhile but yes, they do drop cards.
They are super rare, but they do drop from S-Class. Just, again, super rare. Even rarer than Nether Stones.
If you're really interested in farming a particular card set, wait for the weekly bonus to increase card drop chances (check the calendar) and look for a realm that is small / easy to navigate quickly and spend all your hard earned Power on candle summons.
Otherwise, by the time you reach realm depth 4500ish, you'll likely have all the cards from random treasure drops.
Don't you mean 464? Your most recent comment on the best build topic shows 464 hours played.
Also, how are your creatures only level 7000 with 464 hours played... O.o wut.... AND how do you only have 20 cards with 464 hours played... lol... You must have consistently bad luck or something.
For some perspective, I'm at 551 hours played with 213 cards obtained and my creatures are at level 63,000...
Not trying to come across as a braggart or something. I'm genuinely curious how your played hours can be so high with so few cards obtained and so low creature levels.
