treasure golem guilt

i cant help but feel sad about killing dumplings and treasure golems in this game. does something bad happen when you kill too many as even the gods call you a monster when you kill one. is there a way to benifit from not killing them?

Same Gods disable the Ability for the Golem to flee from you if you just Bribe them enough...

There is a chance to encounter a Nether Realm containing a Treasure Golem, who is very angry at you for slaying his brethren. He and his friends come with Torun Junior minion at the start of battle, so make sure to take them out before they get their turn. Winning this fight nets you the Treasure Golem 2.0 skin.

It may also be possible to get those achievements from a legitimate loss. It's just not particularly likely for that to happen with an enemy whose only manual action is defending.
